Cabbage slaw no. 1
Eat as a side or with bread, butter, and cheese as a light main.

Instructions
- Quarter 1 medium cabbage so that the core is also quartered, i.e.,
slicing along the core. Cut the core out of each quarter. Place each
quarter on its side, with the uncut leaves facing you, and thinly slice.
Note: THINNER THAN IN THE PICTURE! You do this by guiding the knife very
close to the uncut leaves.
- Chop 4 brined pickles into small cubes.
- Peel 2 apples and cut them into thin matchsticks.
- Chop 2 handfuls walnuts.
- Mix everything with 3 tbsp olive oil.
